Our cutting is done in house and we conduct quality control before the process to ensure the material, thread, color is free from any reject.
Tie dye is another method of coloring fabric. We tie the fabric and then dye the color. We then dry it for about 2-3 hours and then wash and dry the fabric.
This is typically used for bright colors, but more recently, our customers also enjoy the results of this method when they would like darker colors, older style, or softer colors.
Batik stamping dips stamp in hot wax, which is then stamped onto the fabric. The fabric is then soaked in dye, and the areas that have been stamped will not get dyed. We then dry and boil the fabric for the wax to come off and for the waxed areas to turn white.
Using this method results in a more handmade look, where the motifs are not always perfectly shaped.
Not all batches are guaranteed the same color as this uses traditional methods of measuring color, washing, drying with the sun, differences in drying time, etc.
For example, drying something at night with no sun will lead to a slightly different result than drying something in the morning. Differences can also be caused by weather (such as cloudy or rain).
Color may vary around 7% from color to color due to the methods used and conditions.
If you choose to produce through batik stamps, please understand this variation in outcome.
Wet the cloth first with water mixed with medicine to turn off the color, after that the cloth is placed on a clean floor, then scrumbled after that it is given the color by dousing it with dye and afterwards given another color by using a bottle or watering again depending on of the desired effect. After 2-3 hours, then wash and dry in the sun to dry
Hand silk screen is a typical batik process, where the motif is printed using a silk screen. This is a more natural process and works best when 1-2 colors are used. This can accommodate up to 4 colors.
Each color requires a screen. More colors will add to higher costs
The cost of one screen is approximately USD 70 for a size of 115 x 175 cm. Increasing size to 115 x 200 cm or 115 x 250 cm will also increase prices and difficulty as it will require longer fabric and more dye.
Full Stamp Material is the same process with the batiks stamp. The difference is, batik stamp is used for beach sarong, pareo and coverup and also the chop stamp arrangement has distance inbetween the stamp. The colour is mostly smoke and white background. Full stamp Material mostly used for material of clothing and the chop stamp is full and then the colour is more than 2,3 or 4 colour(not only white background). And the fabric used, is the premium rayon material. The pricemeter is higher than the regular batik stamp.
